The 5 Most Valuable Squishmallows—and Why

Now that the Squishmallows craze of 2021 has settled, you can find nearly any you'd want for a reasonable resale price. Thankfully, the brand also can match their demand, too. Do you love Wendy the Frog? Well, expect to see her again in stores periodically.

That said, there are still many Squishmallows that have not been reissued, whether they were limited edition drops or in stores that no longer exist. Below, discover five of the most valuable characters and what makes them so unique.

Blossom the Lamb

Blossom the Lamb was exclusive to the mostly defunct girls' clothing store Justice in 2018. She has gorgeous white fur, eyelashes, and a rainbow on her chest. And one of her most unique features? She's vanilla-scented! You had to be one of the OG collectors to own Blossom. If you want to get your hands on her, you can find her on eBay for around $125.

Pokémon Center Pikachu

Last year, the Pokémon Center released exclusive Squishmallows of Pikachu and Gengar. Of course, they sold out quickly. You can still find them online for roughly $100 to $200, or, you can purchase the store's newest iteration of Pikachu with a winking face.

Philippe the Frog

We love frog Squishmallows. Wendy is one of our favorites—and Adabelle and Wyatt are equally cute. For Valentine's Day, the brand introduced Philippe, who looks very similar to Wendy, but he has pink heart-shaped cheeks. Sadly, he launched temporarily in 2018, and you might have to pay up to $600 to have him in your collection.

JSK the Cat (Founder's Edition)

JSK the Cat might be the rarest Squishmallow. Only 250 of them exist. You could only acquire him from the redemption card in the trading packs in 2022. He was inspired by the founder of the company, Jonathan S. Kelly, which is why he wears a tie. You can find him resale for $1,100, and that's a steal compared to other prices he's advertised at.

Jack the Black Cat

Good news! Jack the Black Cat isn't as rare as JSK because there are 500 of him in existence. He's a standard black cat, but he has a golden "500" emblem because he was Squishmallow's 500th-produced plush. Bad news? You'd have to pay around $2,000 to take an unused version of him home.
