The Short Game Doc Highlights Kid Pro Golfers!

Every year, golf pros from around the world congregate in Pinehurst, North Carolina to compete in the World Championships of Junior Golf. The documentary The Short Game focuses on eight 7-year-old competitors and their compelling endeavor to succeed!

The film revolves around young golfers Allan Kournikova, Zamokuhle Nxasana, Alexa Pano, Yang Kuan, Jed Dy, Augustin Valery, Sky Sudberry, and Amari Avery, and the strenuous daily training they undergo in preparation for the championship.

Throughout the film, these 7-year-olds try to overcome one of the most difficult and frustrating sports in the world, squaring up against 1500 golfers from 54 countries at the championship.

All the while, these amazing kids demonstrate not only their talents but give us a funny and touching insight into who they are as people.

The film debuted at South by Southwest Film Festival in March and won the Documentary Feature Competition there. It will see wide release on September 20!
