We can't tell you not to stress out because some of us here at Sweety High certainly are. But hey—we can promise you that you're not alone. Below, discover five truths about Christmas that we all can relate to.
The Large Crowds Are Second Nature to You
Once upon a time, we avoided crowds as much as possible. We don't want to deal with coughing people, crying children and other frantic shoppers. As we've become bigger procrastinators, we have acclimated to the masses that also waited until the last minute to pick up a gift. On the bright side, you get used to all those usually annoying quips about general population since you're focused on getting your shopping done fast and efficiently.

You Have a Creative Eye for Finding Diamond in the Rough Products
Because we wait until the last minute to complete our shopping, we are used to the shelves being picked over. By the middle of December, all the hot gifts will be sold out, leaving us with a very interest potpourri of miscellaneous items. As a procrastinator, we've learned how to do a fantastic job finding something nice within the scarcity. If not, we always know a great dupe that won't disappoint.

Arguably, a normal person would do the chunk of their Christmas shopping during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Those deals make buying tons of items for different people super easy. Sadly, we admit we didn't even bother looking on either day. So, unfortunately, that means we'll be paying full price for most people's gifts.
The Relief After You Finish Shopping Is Unmatched
Our stress levels are at a 10 during the days leading to Christmas. It's a waiting game on whether we'll find the perfect gifts. However, when we finally check out for the last person, a huge weight is lifted off of our shoulders. Now, we can hit peak relaxation before we stress about wrapping the gifts on Christmas Eve.

After another year of being on edge about procrastination, we always swear we'll change for next Christmas. Then, the holidays roll back around, and it's the same pattern. Oh, well. Maybe, one day, it'll be a different story. But 2024 was no exception!
