5 Reasons Why Everyone Should Go Glamping
Was anyone secretly jealous of the families and friend groups that would go camping every year? We were never courageous enough to spend an extended amount of time in the woods, exasperated by our intense fear of bugs and having no wifi.
Thankfully, times have changed. With "glamping," a combination of glam and camping, you can enjoy an extended getaway in nature without sacrificing your comfort. To show you how glorious it is, we've gathered five reasons everyone should go at least once.
It's More Comfortable
The most obvious reason is that glamping allows anyone who might not be ready to give up their everyday comfort to enjoy nature. Within these luxurious sites, you'll have outlets to charge your devices, a real bed (rather than a cot) and maybe even a jacuzzi to decompress in. It's literally a hotel in the woods and is perfect for anyone trying to ease into camping.

There's No Set-Up Needed
On a usual campsite, you'll have to set up everything. That means you'll have to pitch the tent and start the firepit. We mentioned all the comfort benefits of glamping, and it will all be waiting for you when you arrive at your station, so you can immediately jump into all your fun outdoor activities.

It's a Peaceful Way to Spend Time With Your Loved Ones
As much as we love the idea of vacationing with family and friends, taking a trip to an amusement park or going sightseeing in another city can feel high-pressure. How can you fit in everyone's to-do list? Plus, you'll have to deal with people using the bathroom and getting hungry at different times.
The joy of glamping is that everyone is there to relax. You likely won't leave the site very often. So, everyone will be sitting around doing nothing. But hey, you're doing it together.
Nature Improves Your Mental Health
Everyone could spend a weekend away in nature. The great outdoors has been psychologically proven to reduce street—after all, why else would people listen to forest sounds to fall asleep? Subsequently, it also improves your mood. If you're using it as a time to unplug (more on that in a second), it boosts your memory and attention span.

Its Encourages You to Unplug
Research studies have shown that looking at screens all day can have negative effects on our health. We don't need to consume information that often, so it's good to take time away from your electronics to remember you are a human (who once survived without a cell phone). Some glamping grounds might not offer wifi, so we encourage you to use it to talk with your friends, journal and more.
