7 Things You HAVE to Do During Sagittarius Season

Hello, world!

In case you didn't already have your calendars marked, Sagittarius season goes from Nov. 22 – Dec. 21. We hope you're excited as we are to ring in this uplifting time of year. If not, you will be.

An adventurous and free-spirited sign, Sagittarius season is a time to be true to who you are and put yourself out there a little more. We know you need something a little more specific than that, so scroll below for seven things you have to do during the zodiac sign's season.

1. Take a Trip

Sags are known for being the adventurers of the zodiac. They love traveling the world to take in everything it has to offer. We know the season doesn't allow you enough time to visit every corner of the globe, but you can still take a trip somewhere. You don't have to visit a foreign country either. Your trip could be small as venturing to a new city less than an hour away from you just for a day or two. If you can take a longer vacation, by all means, do it. But if your schedule is less permitting, go on a little weekend getaway with your family or besties. You deserve a break, so let Sagittarius season bring it to you.

2. Learn Something New

Those born under the Sagittarius zodiac sign want to learn everything about everything. They're born with an innate curiosity about the world around them, thanks in part to their ruling planet Jupiter. As open-minded as they come, Sagittarius just wants to really understand the viewpoints of everyone around them more than anything. Again, this isn't something you can master in a mere 30 days or so, but you can take that time to learn something new. Whether it's figuring out how to French braid or memorizing various greetings in a ton of different languages, let your curiosity guide you on your quest for knowledge this season.

3. Teach Someone Something

Again, Sagittarius love learning new things. They absorb knowledge like a sponge. But they also enjoy teaching people all that they've learned. So once you learn something new, make sure you leave enough time to teach someone else what you've mastered. They don't need to be experts at whatever it is you teach them, but you should be willing to help them see it through until they are. It might take some time, but you're their point person now that you've unleashed your knowledge on them. You can't just walk away after telling them something. Be the student and the teacher, just like a Sagittarius.

4. Get in Touch With Your Spiritual Side

Sagittarius is completely open-minded. They know there's so much more to life than we think there is to see. They tend to be very spiritual and philosophical creatures, so allow yourself to do the same. Take Sagittarius season to get in touch with your spiritual side once and for all. Though it may scare you, don't be afraid. Try to start meditating or visit a crystal shop to pick out your very first stone, but don't limit yourself. Open your mind to all the spiritual possibilities, because there are many this world has to share with those willing to invite them into their lives.

5. Be Totally Honest

A Sagittarius is nothing if not honest. They're not afraid to tell it like it is, even if it hurts someone's feelings. At the end of the day, they mean well and just want others to know they have their best interest at heart. Even though their sometimes brash nature may come off as rude, they're just looking out for you. That all being said, now's your time to be totally honest with everyone in your life. Whatever you've been itching to say to someone, say it. If someone asks for your brutally candid opinion, give it to them. Don't sugarcoat your honesty for fear of being too harsh. It'll be tough for others to hear, but they know they need to listen.

6. Nurture Your Independence

Being the free-spirited traveler they are, Sagittarius puts their independence ahead of everything else in their life. You can't clip their wings, no matter how hard you try. They're birds that need to fly and will not do anything that limits their freedom. So for these next few days, nurture your own independence like a Sagittarius would. Don't be afraid to do things alone and don't keep yourself behind closed doors. Be free as a bird—or a Sagittarius, in this case.

7. Laugh Everything Off

An optimist through and through, you cannot break the joyous spirit every Sagittarius possesses. Though it may come off as idealistic and naive, they understand that some things in life really aren't worth making too much of a fuss over. Even during their most trying times, they know how to laugh it off. It really is an admirable trait we all can acquire, so what better time than Sagittarius season to laugh everything off? Everything that would cause you stress or make you upset, just chuckle until you find yourself in a more relaxed state. After all, laughter really is the best medicine. We know Sagittarius would agree!
