Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Is Your Worst Crush Nightmare Come True
We've all had secret crushes, but probably none of us can say that they came to light quite as uncomfortably as the heroine's do in To All the Boys I've Loved Before.
Netflix released a teaser for the teen romance movie, and it previews how shy high schooler Lara Jean Song Covey's love life gets a little out of control. Although she's content to dream up imaginary love stories, her life changes abruptly when her five crushes unexpectedly find out about her feeling for them … at the same time.
Yes, it's awkward, but it looks adorable, too.
Adapted by screenwriter Sofia Alvarez, the movie is based on Jenny Han's bestselling YA novel of the same name. The film was directed by Susan Johnson, and it stars Lana Condor, Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Noah Centineo, Israel Broussard, and John Corbett.
To All the Boys I've Loved Before arrives on Netflix on Aug. 17, so mark your calendar now.
