9 Times Tom Holland Proved He’s the Best Spider-Man

As far as we're concerned, the battle for "Best Spider-Man Ever" was won the second Tom Holland stepped on screen.

Andrew Garfield? Tobey Maguire? Who are they? The only person who ever matters is Tom.

Don't believe us? Keep scrolling for nine times Tom Holland proved he's the best Spider-Man:

That time he documented his experience battling Captain America like a real-life YouTuber:

We're all about our YouTube stars, and Spider-Man taking time out of fighting Captain America to film what's going on is the type of commitment we need. Tom plays the excitement of a kid living out his dream perfectly, and we totally would have subscribed to his channel.

That time he went undercover at a high school for research:

Because he's from Britain, Tom Holland jokingly suggested to Marvel that he should go to a high school undercover to learn about American schools, and they took him seriously. He attended the Bronx School of Science in New York for three days with a fake name and a fake accent. Talk about commitment to the role.

That time he totally owned a pretty pathetic suit:

In past Spider-Man movies, Spidey was all on his own. Still, without any help, he managed to create the perfect suit that housed all his capabilities and fit perfectly. Peter's smart, but he's just a kid, so we love the absolutely pathetic suit he puts together to work on his crime-fighting in the latest Spider-Man films. Plus, Tom totally owns the crappy suit. It might be the fact that he's just a babe in general, but we're so here for it.

Every time he acknowledges that he can't keep a secret:

Tom has said on more than one occasion that he's genuinely terrible at keeping secrets. Given how much Marvel likes to hide from their fans, it's truly shocking that Tom's relationship with them works at all. He's constantly revealing accidental spoilers, but at least he acknowledges that he's doing it. Honestly, we'd be mad at him, but we just can't—he's too cute.

That time he was all of us looking at Chris Pratt:

Even though we love Spider-Man on his own, we love him even more as part of the whole Avengers crew. The fact that Tom acknowledges that his love for Star-Lord extends beyond the big screen makes us feel a little better about drooling over all the hotties in the Marvel universe.

Every time he shows off his gymnastics skills:

Spider-Man is a pretty agile little fella, and Tom is the first actor to play him who can actually live up to the physical demands of the role. Seeing him twist and jump around makes the character feel a little more lifelike—and it's honestly just cool to watch.

Every scene with Tony Stark:

Robert Downey Jr. is a pretty talented actor, so holding your own in a scene with him has to be difficult. But Tom doesn't shy away from the challenge at all, allowing these two characters to build an awesome rapport that has us laughing through every scene they do together.

That time he was totally committed to his fans:

Tom's love for his fans is absolutely adorable. Not only has he been photographed in full Spidey gear taking photos with sick children, he's also willing to do whatever it takes to make sure his fans get an autograph, including throwing balls of signed paper off a hotel room balcony.

That time he was actually a real-life Spider-Man:

Guys. He found a stray dog, took him to the vet and made sure he got reunited with his owners. What other evidence do you need to prove he's the best?
