We consider the romantic month of February to be a season for love, indulgence and self-care, and when it came to all of the great foods and drinks we got to try, we were not let down.
The month introduced us to decadent desserts, delicious comfort meals, fast fixes and good-for-you beverages of all kinds, which we'll definitely be enjoying beyond February. We try a little bit of it all so we can share our favorites, and you can discover our top February 2023 picks in the list below.
Kevin's Natural Foods
Kevin's Natural Foods first had us hooked with their meal kits, offering effortless paleo and keto-certified eats that combined great sauces with tender, sous-vide-cooked meats for better-than-home cooked meals in minutes—and it turns out their pasta offerings are just as good. These new dishes use cauliflower pasta that tastes just as good as traditional pasta, combined with their signature sauces and meats to create everything from Beef Stroganoff and Lemon Garlic Chicken Penne to Beef Bolognese and more. They still take just five minutes to cook, making it easier than ever to enjoy healthy takes on the classics.

Ghia
Ghia is a unique brand that specializes in drinks with complex, grown-up flavors that can be enjoyed by all ages, and for us, it was love at first sip. From their canned Le Spritz drinks to their Apéritif, everything is flavored with great ingredients, utilizing bold botanicals for a pleasantly bitter bite while encouraging connectivity through the creation of delicious mixed mocktails and mingling over drinks. The blends are designed to be calming and indulgent, with incredible flavors for slow sipping.

JAMBAR Organic Artisan Energy Bars

Each vegan, gluten-free bar contains 10 grams of sunflower or whey protein, plus calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium and vitamin C to keep the body going—and they taste great too. Whether you prefer more traditional flavors like their Chocolate Cha Cha or Malt Nut Melody or want something a little different with Jammin' Jazzleberry or Musical Mango, they've got you covered with easy-to-enjoy bars. Plus, 50% of profits go to community programs for music and active living, so you know that every bite goes toward something really good.

Soom
Tahini is a classic Middle Eastern condiment made from sesame seeds known for its rich, nutty flavor, akin to nut butter, and while Soom is best known for its flavored tahini, their first foray into the snack game ticks all of our boxes. Soom Tahini Bites combine their premium tahini with dates, cacao and more to create decadent baked confections in Cherry Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Brownie and Pumpkin Spice flavors. Each one is rich, nutty and super snackable, with zero gluten and low refined sugar, making them a great pick-me-up for any time of day.

SkinTē
We've been huge fans of SkinTē and their unique, collagen-packed sparkling teas for a while now, and we're even more obsessed thanks to their brand-new Energy Boost flavors. In addition to including collagen peptides and horsetail for healthy skin, hair and nails, as well as hawthorn berry for mood and vitamin C for immunity, each can also contains green tea and natural caffeine for a healthy burst of energy. Our favorite part, though, has to be that these fizzy, tart drinks also have great flavors. While Black Raspberry tastes like a sour berry picked ripe from the vine, Peach Mango is slightly sweeter with a tropical fruitiness to perk you right up.

Unreal Deli
Whether you're a plant-based eater or just like to go meatless from time to time, you can't do better than Unreal Deli when it comes to sandwich "meats." Unlike many other vegan alternatives, these slices are made using blends of real whole veggies and protein-packed grains to make them nutritious as well as delicious. We've tried their Unreal Steak Slices, Unreal Corn'd Beef and Unreal Roasted Turk'Y, and while it doesn't taste just like the real deal, the texture is exactly what you'd want for a yummy, hearty sandwich that satisfies.

immi
While instant ramen has a reputation for being inexpensive yet delicious, it is not known for being very nutritious—but immi is here to change that. The brand sets out to reinvent ramen in a nutrient-packed, good-for-you form that still tastes fantastic, and they're knocking it out of the park. These plant-based noodles come in Black Garlic "Chicken," Spicy "Beef" and Tom Yum "Shrimp" flavors, and though they take a little longer to cook than your standard instant ramen, they're just as easy and also pack at least 21 grams of protein in every serving. We also love that they have a bit more bite to them, making them more filling and substantial, whether or not you add your own tasty mix-ins.

Tony's Chocolonely x Ben & Jerry's
This collaboration between Tony's Chocolonely and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream is truly a match made in heaven, with both companies joining forces to end modern slavery in the chocolate industry—and to make some of the tastiest options we've tried from either brand with their Chocolate Love-A-Fair line. First off, there are two chocolate bars. The Chocolate Fudge Brownie bar is embedded with rich, crunchy pieces of brownie, while the Strawberry Cheesecake is a white chocolate bar infused with cream cheesy goodness and full of graham cracker and strawberry pieces. Our favorite, though, has to be the Chocolatey Love A-Fair ice cream, enhancing rich chocolate ice cream with gooey salted caramel swirls, crunchy caramel chunks and thick sea salt fudge pieces to keep you coming back, bite after bite.

Baba's
As much as we love pitas, most grocery store brands tend to be a little bit dry, hard and underwhelming. That's why we were so delighted to try Baba's new Pita Puffs, which are some of the softest, pillowiest and most delicious pitas we've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The brand's vegan, halal and kosher recipe, with zero artificial preservatives, gives them a restaurant quality with the perfect taste and texture, and they pair to perfection with the brand's hummus dips. If you love pickles, their tart, savory Dilly Dill Pickle Hummus will become your next party staple.

Wholly Veggie
Wholly Veggie is a brand making plant-based versions of your favorite party snacks, resulting in treats that are tasty and nostalgic, and also packed with veggies and without any meat or dairy. They all crisp up to perfection in an air fryer in no time at all, coming with delicious dipping sauces that defrost in warm water while you cook. The Buffalo Cauliflower Wings happen to be our favorite, with a crunchy, perfectly seasoned breading that tastes great in whatever sauce you please, but their Cheddar Style Jalapeño Sticks and Mozzarella Style Sticks are also great for cheese-lovers—even if they're no longer eating cheese.

Kinjabang
Love fast, hot tasty noodles, but not that into soup? Kinjabang and their plant-based, convenient instant noodles make for delicious noodle-based dishes that focus on flavor—not a salty broth. While most instant noodle brands are deep-fried, these use a special air-drying process that maintains freshness without extra calories and fat. They are so easy to cook—just add noodles and the included dry veggie mix to the tray with water and microwave before draining and adding the sauce packet for great noodles in less than five minutes. The simple blend of cabbage, carrots, mushrooms and green onions adds texture as well as great flavor to every bowl, and while the thin-cut Shadow Style Noodles with Kinjabang Spicy Sauce are a little too fiery for our tastes, we could eat the medium-cut Kin Style Noodles with Kinjabang Original Sauce and thick-cut Blade Style Noodles with Kinjabang Zesty sauce all day.

Teakoe
There's something we find so delightful about fizzy teas, and when it comes to pure flavor, no one does it better than Teakoe. Not only are they made to be better for you, with all-natural, plant-based organic ingredients and zero added sugars, but they have some phenomenal flavors, including Peach Lavender, Minty Pear and Orange Ginger Peach, all complemented by tasty bubbles. Any caffeine also comes naturally from the tea, with some cans boasting more caffeine than an average cup of coffee—though we will warn you that not all flavors are created equal in that regard. Between the caffeine-free Strawberry Crème flavor and the Honey Lemon flavor packing 130 mg of caffeine, there can be a big difference between cans, so take a look before you sip.

Steeped Coffee
Some people just don't have the gift of being able to make great coffee out of a machine, and that's okay! If that's you, and you're sick of spending loads of money at the coffee shop or on pre-made cold brew, Steeped Coffee is here to change everything. Their unique single-serve coffee bags are steeped in a cup of hot water, similar to tea bags, making them fool-proof, as well as super convenient, extra fresh and environmentally friendly while tasting great. If you're not sure where to start, their "The Lineup" box includes Steeped Coffee's signature light, medium, dark and French roasts to make it easy to find your ideal brew.

Big Fork Brands
A classic Chicago-style hot dog is topped with yellow mustard, onion, tomato wedges, relish, a pickle spear, spicy sport peppers and just a sprinkling of celery salt, and Big Fork Brands have brought the whole experience together in the form of a flavor-packed sauce with The Ultimate Hot Dog Sauce. If you don't like letting extra veggies rot in the fridge, this stuff takes out all of the work and provides all of the flavor in an instant. It also comes in a heat-packed Chicago Fire Sauce and a Chicago Fry Sauce, blended with ketchup and mayo to make it perfect for everything else at your grill-out. And on another note entirely, the brand offers satisfying pork snack sticks with smooth, bold and smokey flavors. As much as we love the original, the perfectly spiced Thai Green Curry and bacon-like Maple & Pepper flavors take the cake.

DeeBee's Organics
It may still be chilly out, but we think it's always a good time for frozen treats, and when it comes to freezer pops, it doesn't get any better than DeeBee's Organics. The brand is all about frozen treats that use real ingredients, and their organic SuperFruit Freezies are made with the best stuff, sweetened with real fruit juice and only have 25 calories each. Both their Classic and Tropical lines are so tasty and snackable, and we also love that they're shelf-stable, so they don't have to take up any room in your freezer until you're actually ready to freeze and eat.

GOOD PLANeT Foods
When we're in a snacking mood, there are few things that satiate us better than the classic combination of cheese, nuts and dried fruit. With Good PLANeT Foods' new Plant-Based Snack Packs, the cheese doesn't have to include animal products to fuel us. Whether you're nibbling on cubes of their cheddar or smoked gouda, both taste and feel like the real deal, and paired with dried cranberries and cashews or almonds, they make us feel quite fancy while pleasing our tastebuds.

MOSH
MOSH is an innovative brain-focused protein bar co-founded by Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger, and the brand is offering something truly special in the health bar space. Not only does each flavor taste really good, with just the right of sweetness and the perfect amount of crunch, but every bar contains at least 12 grams of protein, as well as brain and body-healthy Omega 3's, collagen and vitamins B12 and D3, but also adaptogens including lion's mane and ashwagandha. After eating them, we instantly feel more focused and ready to take on our days. Our favorite flavor has to be the new Lemon White Chocolate Crunch, with a velvety, dessert-like flavor—and best of all, a portion of all proceeds goes to the Women's Alzheimer's Movement.

Heritage Kulfi
If you're not yet familiar with Indian-style kulfi ice cream, it'll only take a single bite of Heritage Kulfi to get you obsessed. It all starts with a ridiculously creamy and smooth ice cream base, but where the brand really shines is in its classic Indian flavors. The Rosewater ice cream is fragrant, with an unusual floral sweetness enhanced by the cream, while their Pistachio is the best take on the flavor we've had and their Cardamom Chai is packed with warming spices and black tea, making it all too easy to eat a whole pint in one sitting.

Nutiva & Coconut Secret
Nutiva and Coconut Secret are unique brands that show just how delicious and versatile coconuts can be, whether you're looking for savory or sweet flavors or simply to add some new staples to your pantry that utilize only the cleanest ingredients. Coconut Secret creates soy-free sauces and marinades using coconut blossom sap from the Philippines. This unusual ingredient is sweet as well as packed with flavor, making it a great replacement for flavorings that traditionally include soy sauce and creating some truly delicious meals in the process. At the same time, Nutiva makes coconut oil as well as sweet coconut-based spreads for dipping fruit, crackers and anything else you can get your hands on.

Veroni
Few things make us feel like we're living our best lives than making fancy charcuterie spreads, and Veroni makes it easier than ever with their ready-made platters featuring authentic Italian deli meats. The brand has kits pairing meats and cheeses with olives, dried fruit, nuts and more for incredible complementary flavors, and between their incredible salami, prosciutto, coppa and more, it's seriously hard to pick a favorite. We're also slightly obsessed with putting our favorite Italian meats and cheese under the broiler to get the meat to a bacon-like consistency and turn the cheese into crisp chips to mix things up.

Culture Pop Soda
If you're on the hunt for a new, delicious soda that's also great for you, look no further than Culture Pop Soda. The brand's probiotic sodas are flavored with real, organic fruit juice as well as tasty and unusual herbs, with the Orange Mango Chili & Lime, Watermelon Lime & Rosemary, Wild Berries Basil & Lime, Ginger Lemon & Turmeric, Strawberry & Rhubarb, Pink Grapefruit & Ginger and Lemon Lime & Cardamom varieties all boasting complex flavors that combine sweet and savory essences with heat, warmth and more. These vegan drinks use zero refined sweeteners, and every can contains billions of probiotics to boost your gut health, making for a happy body as well as mind. We simply can't stop sipping them.

Churn Foods
High-quality butter makes everything better, and if you aren't already a flavored butter devotee, Churn Foods is going to have you convinced. Their chef-crafted, organic grass-fed butter is infused with the best ingredients to effortlessly bring a ton of flavor to your favorite foods, whether you add the flavors of sun-dried tomato, basil, garlic and balsamic vinegar to pasta or toast with the Bruschetta butter or pair the savory umami goodness of their Miso butter with fish or roasted veggies. They make it so easy to enjoy fast, easy and flavor-rich meals, and we can't wait to try even more options from the lineup.

buchi
When we're craving classic kombucha with that tart, vinegary tang, we always reach for a cold can of buchi, and the brand just got even better with the introduction of new kombucha-based Living Energy drinks. These innovative blends combine active kombucha cultures with nootropics, adaptogens and clean, natural caffeine to get your mind and body in sync, boosting gut health with a burst of energy—and without a nasty crash. Each can contains 100 mg each of L-theanine and caffeine, plus 50 mg of focus-enhancing lion's mane, with crisp, bold flavors that'll have you hooked.

Pipcorn
At first, Pipcorn's mini popcorn may just look like a shrunk-down version of the classic snack, but mini heirloom popcorn kernels are much more than meets the eye. Flavored with just salt, sunflower oil and a bit of rosemary extract, they pack way more flavor, with a more satisfying crunch (and almost no hull to annoyingly get stuck between your teeth). The brand also makes other corn-based goodies, such as corn chips and cheese balls, but it's their newest product that we can't stop munching on. Last month, they added Twists to the lineup, made with sustainable, upcycled corn flour, creating great flavor and a super satisfying crunch. While we love the Sea Salt flavor, the Cinnamon Sugar flavor has us obsessed. They're reminiscent of the twisty desserts offered at Taco Bell, but in a healthier (and yummier) package that'll keep you snacking until the back is empty.

Wildway
Granola is a classic nutrient-packed food for fueling the body, but most brands aren't an option if you eat gluten-free, or are following a keto or paleo diet. That's where Wildway comes in with their grain-free, gluten-free granola, hot cereal and coconut chips. Their focus on real food and purposeful ingredients, without any added flavorings and fillers, makes their offerings delicious as well as energizing. Recently, their instant hot cereal has become one of our morning go-tos, with their hearty, wholesome Cinnamon Roll flavor being our favorite.
