Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF with Zendaya!
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is going digital in 2014, and this year, Zendaya is the program spokesperson!
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF started in 1950. Every year since then, amazing kids across the U.S. have collected donations during their trick-or-treating rounds on Halloween, and donated the funds to UNICEF!
All of the proceeds go toward helping kids in need. The change adds up quickly! For example, you could:
Supply a child with clean, safe drinking water for 40 days with $1
Feed a malnourished child for 5 days with $5
Vaccinate 280 children to keep them from getting sick with $10
Buy mosquito nets and protect 100 kids from malaria with $100
Install a water pump that can supply water to a whole village with $500
Last year, Laura Marano was the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF ambassador. This time around, Zendaya is encouraging kids to get involved and trick-or-treati for a cause. This year, they can also set up online fundraising!
Zendaya has been quite busy giving back this month. She used her 18th birthday earlier this week to call attention to hungry kids and raise money with feedONE!
