Tyler Hubbard Drops New The Weeknd Cover and More With Apple Music Nashville Sessions

Over the last few years, country singer-songwriter Tyler Hubbard, formerly of musical duo Florida Georgia Line, has reestablished himself as one of the biggest solo artists in the genre.

To date, Tyler has released a whopping 22 No. 1 singles on country radio, and he shows absolutely no signs of slowing down—especially with his new Apple Music Nashville Sessions.

Released on Aug. 6, the three-track EP is a collaboration between Apple Music and Tyler Hubbard, recorded live in Spatial Audio at the Apple Music studio in Nashville, Tennessee.

It begins with a genre-bending cover of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," reinventing the 2020 hit with a rousing country twist, followed by two of Tyler's fan-favorite tracks—"Turn" and "Me for Me"—recorded live. Click HERE to give the session a listen, exclusively at Apple Music.

The session also arrives as Tyler has been performing across the continent, hitting up festivals and fairs around the U.S. and Canada, and ahead of his Strong World Tour. The tour commences on Sep. 6 in Indianapolis, Indiana, traveling to perform in 26 cities across the U.S., Canada and even Australia before returning to the States to conclude at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
