Skincare Products You Should Be Using for the Fall

It's fall, y'all!

Now that the weather is cooling down, it's time to prepare our skin for the colder months. Not sure what you should be using? Don't worry, we've got you covered. Here are the types of skincare products you should be using for the fall.

Lip Masks

Nobody wants crusty crusts, so instead of sticking with a regular old lip balm, go for a lip mask! These are ultra-hydrating and great to put on before you go to bed. Trust us when we say you'll wake up with nourished, pillow-soft lips.

Thick Moisturizers

It's officially time to move on to a thicker moisturizer. You can do this just for the night, or, if your skin is in some major love of some TLC, in the morning, too. Just make sure you're keeping your skin properly quenched from the inside out and drink water!

Sunscreen

We hate to break it to you, but just because you're no longer sunbathing doesn't mean you can skip on sunscreen. The UV rays are just as harsh during the fall months, so make sure to apply it every single morning (and reapply throughout the day!).

Vitamin C Serums

If you're not already using a vitamin C serum, now is the time to add it to your routine! Vitamin C has tons of benefits and can pretty much do it all. From evening skin tone to helping with hyperpigmentation, dull skin, sun damage and collagen production, this serum belongs in your life.

Gentle Cleansers

Cleansing just might be the most important thing you can do for your skin, and during the fall months, the last thing we want to do is use harsh ingredients. That's why you should switch to a gentle cleanser! The easier on the skin, the better.

Facial Oils

Facial oils feel like a dream on the skin. Regardless of your skin type, you should absolutely be using a facial oil, especially during the fall. Facial oils are known to be anti-inflammatory and can even toughen up your skin barrier. Plus, it will leave you with an even complexion and super soft skin. What's not to like?

Light Exfoliants

We're not saying to stop exfoliating your skin, but we do suggest switching over to a lighter exfoliant. Whether you go for an exfoliating pad or a gentle scrub is up to you and your specific skin needs.

Eye Creams

Did you know that the skin around our eyes is super thin and sensitive? That's why the fall is as good a time as any to start using an eye cream. Since this area can get extra dry, look for an eye cream that will hydrate, color correct and aid in puffiness.
