U.N. Women Recruits Emma Watson As Ambassador!

Emma Watson continues to be a girl power icon with her new role as U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador!

The Harry Potter and The Perks of Being A Wallflower star was recently appointed to the position with The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.

In her role, she'll work to create amazing opportunities for females, and help to even the playing field between mean and women through taking down discrimination. Her work is all about promoting gender equality and empowering girls and women across the world!

"Women's rights are something so inextricably linked with who I am, so deeply personal and rooted in my life that I can't imagine an opportunity more exciting," Emma said in a statement about her new position.
