We Tried Urban Decay’s Gorgeous Naked Collection Nail Polish
Last week, Urban Decay announced their new nail collection inspired by "cult-favorite shadows" from their Naked palette line.
This week, we have the polishes and we're trying them out to help you select which one (or ones) you'll be snagging first.
The new collection comes with eight stunning shades—Walk of Shame, YDK, Commando, Magnet, Instinct, Tease, Extra Bitter and Lethal. Each bottle is adorned with a metallic cap featuring a tiny skull, and is equipped with a high performing 400-strand brush that will help you apply the colors like a pro.
Scroll below to see what we love about each shade!
Walk of Shame
Color description: Very light nude cream
Fave thing about this hue: Despite this polish being pale, it's absolutely gorgeous on. I was surprised that I only had to apply one coat for full coverage. It's the perfect color to wear if your wardrobe is full of color. No clashing will occur!
YDK
Color description: Cool champagne shimmer
Fave thing about this hue: This polish is so sparkly, and glides on with ease. I can see myself wearing this on New Year's Eve!
Commando
Color description: Light taupe-brown cream
Fave thing about this hue: I am obsessed with subtle polish, and this is just that. This color is sophisticated, chic and will pair really well with a fall wardrobe.
Magnet
Color description: Smoky gray cream
Fave thing about this hue: This color is bold, but not too bold—it's perfect for anyone who's not ready to jump to a black polish, but wants something more vibrant than a nude.
Instinct
Color description: Medium pink-taupe with a hint of pearl
Fave thing about this hue: Seeing as pink is my favorite color, I am a major fan of this pink-taupe shade. It's the ideal way to add a pop of color to my hands, and it looks classy as can be. I will mention, however, that this particular polish required one extra coat because it's such a faint color.
Tease
Color description: Brown cream
Fave thing about this hue: In my opinion, this is the perfect color for fall. I envision myself wearing this color while holding a PSL from Starbucks. ????
Extra Bitter
Color description: Deep burnt orange cream
Fave thing about this hue: It looks just like melted chocolate when applying it, I kid you not! Don't believe me, try it yourself. This rich color goes on oh so smoothly.
Lethal
Color description: Reddish brown cream
Fave thing about this hue: This color really is dangerously beautiful. The rich reddish brown should pair off really nicely with a neutral-colored outfit. I'd gladly rock this color mani all-year-round.
