Wombats are marsupials (like kangaroos and koalas) and are native to Australia and Tasmania. They almost look like teeny-tiny bears!
Even though they're small and often don't move very quickly, when they're frightened they can summon the strength to knock down a grown man!
Wombats even have their own holiday, celebrated on the 22 of October. We plan on celebrating from now on!
