11 Warped Tour Acts You Can’t Miss at the Festival This Summer
I'm not the biggest fan of summer.
It's nice to get a break, but the disgusting heat makes the time off a lot less enjoyable. There is one thing that always helps me dread the season a little bit less though, and that is Warped Tour.
I've been attending this rocking music festival for years now and it never gets old.
Kicking off this Friday, June 16 in Seattle, Washington and ending Sunday, Aug. 6 in Pomona, California, this year's lineup is stacked with a slew of amazing acts.
Boasting over 80 incredible bands and musicians, there's no shortage of sets to catch.
It's not humanly impossible to watch all the artists perform, so I thought I'd share the 11 acts you absolutely cannot miss at the festival. Check them out below:
Neck Deep
Neck Deep is one of my favorite pop punk bands around. Their live shows get freaking rowdy and I love it. Plus, they're gearing up to release their new album The Peace and the Panic in August, which hopefully means they'll be playing some yet-to-be-heard tunes from their upcoming record.
Hands Like Houses
If ever there was a band whose music could bring world peace, I'd bet on it being the sick tunage from Australian rockers Hands Like Houses. Every time I catch their set, I immediately want to go out and change the world. Trust me, you will feel the same way after seeing them.
Jule Vera
Don't let their ages fool you, these Alabama-based rockers are seasoned Warped Tour vets. Their sound has taken a more alternative turn since I saw them back in 2015, but I'm all about it. They've got plenty of new tunes to bless your ears with, so get ready to listen.
Beartooth
I've been a fan of this hardcore group for quite some time now and they never disappoint when I see them live. They have such great energy onstage. Prepare to be sweating bullets one song into their set.
Our Last Night
While these guys are pretty popular for their hard-hitting covers of pop songs, their original jams are even better. These dudes always put on one heck of a show, so I can't wait to see what their Warped Tour sets have in store. They even dropped a new EP recently, which means they have to blast their new tracks for all to hear.
Bad Seed Rising
Another young band, these Maryland rockers' jams pack a mean punch. I've just started listening to them, but I quickly became obsessed. And I always support a female-fronted band. Always.
Plain White T's
While I enjoy discovering new bands at Warped Tour, I'm also all about supporting the classics like the Plain White T's. I can't wait to scream the lyrics to "Hey There Delilah" and "Our Time Now" with every other festival goer.
Boston Manor
I just started listening to these guys after catching them on tour with Moose Blood in the states. They're another band who puts on a high-energy live show, so I hope you're ready.
Movements
Forming in 2015, these guys have only been around for a minute, but are steadily rising the ranks to become one of the top bands around. I guarantee they'll be one of the acts you remember most from the festival.
Tillie
For fans of Melanie Martinez and Halsey, you definitely need to check out Tillie. She may have a sweet voice, but she pairs that with dark lyrics you'll find truly relatable.
Trophy Eyes
This Australian punk rock group pairs moody lyrics with hard-hitting vocals and instrumentals. I listened to their music once and was immediately hooked. I imagine the same will happen if you catch them at Warped this summer.
