4 Ways to Rock a Bikini Without Showing Too Much Skin

It's bikini season… which is a delight for some, and a devastation for others.

While it's obviously fun to style your swimsuit and go for a splash, it can also be uncomfortable revealing so much skin. Regardless of your body type, it's natural to feel slightly self-conscious in a two-piece. But that doesn't need to be the case!

If you want to confidently rock a bikini but lessen the nerves, keep reading for four ways to do so without revealing too much skin.

1. Wear a Duster

Dusters are kind of the best. Not only do they cover us up and keep us warm, but they're super stylish. They're the perfect way to up your bikini game if you're wearing a solid-colored two-piece while also concealing the parts of our bodies we want less-revealed.

2. Wear a Cropped Tee Over the Top

Depending on which body part you're trying to conceal, a cropped tee may be just what you need to feel most comfortable. They're still tight-fitting and make you stand out, but you won't have to reveal as much skin when wearing them.

3. Wear Shorts Over the Bottoms

Who doesn't love a good pair of shorts? The possibilities are limitless with this article of clothing. If you're aiming to conceal more of your stomach, you can opt for high-waisted. If your thighs or booty are of concern, you can always wear knee-length shorts. Plus, shorts come in so many materials and patterns, you really can't go wrong.

4. Wear High-Waisted Bottoms

We're not sure about you, but we are all about the high-waisted bikini bottom. They allow us to reveal just enough of our stomach without making us feel scantily clad. We like our bottoms going just above the belly button and then wearing maybe a bit more of a revealing bikini top to even out the look.
