My Baking Experience

My box's recipe was for Nutella cupcakes—yum!

I will start by saying that because I'm vegan, I had to tweak the recipe a little bit, but it still worked out in the end.

The pre-measured ingredients were a game-changer! I love that I didn't have to measure out anything other than the butter, milk and eggs. It made clean-up a breeze and cut down on my baking time tenfold.

They even had the cutest little sayings and puns on the bags. The Nutella, baking soda and all-purpose flour were my faves.

Mixing all of the ingredients to bake the cupcake batter took maybe 15 minutes, and then only another 15 minutes to bake them. Getting stuff done with Whisk & Flour.

While I let the cupcakes bake, I moved onto the frosting.

This probably only took 10 minutes to make, so I was done before the cupcakes had completed their time in the oven. I definitely wasn't mad about that, because it gave me time to sample my creation. And oh man, it was some of the best frosting I've ever had. Needless to say, I was pretty proud of myself.

After the cupcakes were done and I let them cool off, I attempted to frost them to perfection. My frosting skills need some serious work, though!

These bad boys may look appetizing, but how did they taste? About as delicious as you'd expect. My family and I gobbled these cupcakes down in about 20 minutes. Sorry, not sorry!

Would I Recommend It?

If you love baking, then absolutely! And even if you're not the best baker, but you want to become better at it, this box is still perfect for you.

It's virtually foolproof, arriving with almost everything you need to bake some tasty treats for friends and family, or even just yourself.

I applaud Whisk & Flour for deciding to not only give you most of the necessary ingredients, but actually pre-measuring them as well. It made the baking process so seamless and easy, I'm still in awe of it.
