Will Taylor Swift Beat One Direction’s Record Sales?

According to MusicWeek, Taylor Swift's new release "Red" is likely to beat One Direction's "Up All Night" record sales for the year!

"Up All Night" is currently the 2nd best-selling album of the year in the U.S., at 1.3 million sales. It trails behind Adele's "21," which has sold 4.1 million copies this year.

"Red" is closing in fast with 1.2 million sales in just its first week! Looks like One Direction might want to keep their eye on Taylor!

Of course, this news comes just weeks shy of One Direction's upcoming album "Take Me Home" which is sure to be a smash hit. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!
