Step Up Your Winter Outerwear Game With Bernardo
I live in Southern California, so most of the year, I'm living in a blissful 70 degrees and sunny state of mind.
However, also I'm about two hours from the mountains and visit family in colder places like Colorado and Idaho throughout the year. That means my thin leggings and light sweaters won't cut it, especially during the winter. Bernardo Two-Tone Vegan Shearling Coat: $149 (on sale for $99!)
The moment I laid eyes on this coat I knew it was going to become a quick favorite. And I was right—it's become a regular in my rotation of outerwear and I'm seriously obsessed. I'm a sucker for anything leather, which this coat covers, plus the addition of shearling. It's all sorts of trendy and anything but basic. I love that it gives off a worn-in look—you just get the vibe it's seen things—even though it's completely new! Featuring an oversized and relaxed fit with pockets, this is without a doubt my favorite piece from Bernardo.

Vegan Leather Vest Coat: $99 (on sale for $65!)
I've never owned a long vest before, let alone one that was made with vegan leather, too. And even though I wasn't sure I was going to like it on, I still requested a sample—and I'm so glad I did. It's different than anything I've ever seen and definitely sets me apart in a crowd. I love making statements when it comes to my clothing, and this vest gets the job done. Crafted from vegan leather with quilted shoulder details, this long vest looks adorable over long sleeve sweaters, dresses and more.

Double Breasted Puffer Coat: $119 (on sale for $80!)
Puffer vests and coats have been all the rage this season and I've been dying to get my hands on something. I already have a cropped black puffer, so I thought a longer one in more of a nude color would be fun to try out. This double-breasted puffer coat comes in a beautiful "frappe" hue and features full lining and pockets. It's seriously so warm and flattering on my body. It doesn't swallow me up, which is something that most puffers seem to do.

The Bernie Bomber: $182 (on sale for $99!)
The last product I tried from Bernardo is this stunner of a bomber. Coming in vegan leather, this hooded black bomber is a staple I plan on keeping for a long time in my closet. The chevron quilting gives it some flair while still maintaining that classic look, and the oversized hood is fashionable and keeps my ears nice and toasty. I especially love the bubble hem—it's unexpected and unlike anything else I own!

Bottom Line
I'm pretty picky when it comes to my fashion choices, and even though the pieces from Bernardo were very cute online, I wasn't sure if they were going to be good in person. But guess what? They absolutely were! I couldn't be happier with the pieces Bernardo sent me and I plan on getting a lot of use out of them. Not only are they trendy, but they keep me cozy and smug in cold weather.
