Wonder Woman To Make Big Screen Debut!

Wonder Woman is slated to make her big screen debut in the upcoming film Batman Vs. Superman!

The film isn't set to release until July 17 or 2015, but there's already a big buzz around the upcoming film, which will feature Israeli model and actress Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in her first film appearance.

No one knows just yet how big or a role she will play in the sequel to Man Of Steel, but we hope that the character will be able to prove her mettle and get a film of her own in the future!

For years, networks and movie studios have struggled with bringing Wonder Woman back into the public sphere.

The Wonder Woman television series starring Lynda Carter was a huge hit from 1975 to 1979.

NBC nearly made a Wonder Woman show in 2011, but the pilot failed. The CW also tried its hand at a Wonder Woman show called Amazon in 2012, but the project has been paused because the network has not been happy with scripts.

Wonder Woman has also appeared in animated form on shows like Super Friends, Justice League and the 2009 Wonder Woman film, featuring Keri Russell as the voice of Wonder Woman.
