Wonder Woman Is Getting Her Own Roller Coaster—Here’s What We Know So Far

The Six Flags theme parks are famous for rides inspired by DC's biggest heroes and villains, and  Wonder Woman is finally getting added to the list of characters with her own epic roller coaster.

The single-rail coaster will be called Wonder Woman: Golden Lasso and be featured at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. It'll open in March of next year. We might have to book our plane tickets to Texas now.

Based on what we've seen so far, it appears the ride will feature huge drops and upside-down turns. The video below shows a mockup of the upcoming ride.

But this won't be the first time Six Flags has given Wonder Woman her own attraction. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California has one called Wonder Woman: Lasso of Truth, a pendulum ride that swings riders back and forth in the air as they spin.

Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California has a ride of the same name that's more of a classic centrifuge ride that spins quickly to make you stick to the sides.

We think it's about time Wonder Woman got equal treatment to Batman and Superman. Click HERE to find out how she's totally changed the way we think about tiaras.
