Lorde Celebrates 18th B-day With Yellow Flicker Beat Video!

Today is Lorde's 18th birthday, and the singer decided to celebrate with the release of her music video for "Yellow Flicker Beat" from the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1!

The ambient, moody and powerful new music video perfectly accompanies the song, with lyrics that can standalone or reflect Katniss Everdeen and her harrowing journey throughout the Hunger Games series.

Rather than telling a story, the video works to embody an feeling. It takes place in a number of settings, to a dingy motel room to a bus stop and an extravagant ballroom, taking us through a number of feelings, with Lorde dancing all the while.
