Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Geminis are known as the social butterflies of the zodiac, and while they can be extremely fun-loving, oftentimes they'll be looking for a fling rather than a long-term commitment. They tend to have big friend groups, jumping between different social circles to see where the fun's at, and can feel like their freedom's restricted when they hang out with just one person. They also can get bored easily, and don't want to be burdened with compromising between their existing life and a new romance.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22)

If there's one sign that gets the ick extremely easily, it's Virgo. They might start to fall for someone, but as perfectionists, they can have countless turnoffs that'll stop those feelings dead in their tracks. They can also be quite critical, focusing entirely on a new partner's flaws and trying to fix them, instead of letting them be themselves. Even their "romantic" gestures tend not to feel romantic, as they often focus on practical gestures, as opposed to lovey-dovey ones.

 

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Technically, Sagittarians can fall for people quite easily—it's just that those feelings often don't stick around as Sag goes in search of the next exciting thing. They're always on the go and value their freedom, so they can feel easily smothered in a relationship, viewing the littlest things as quite clingy. Many times, the greatest love in their life is a sense of adventure and a chance to explore the world, as opposed to a special person.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Capricorn is often considered the hardest working sign of the zodiac, and that all-work, no-play attitude can also extend to their love lives. They'll often consider themselves too busy for romantic matters, focusing instead on other responsibilities, like academics or work. Even in a relationship, they can sometimes come off as cold because prioritize the things that "must" be done over the ones that "should." It's not usually until they're grown and looking to settle down that they truly put effort into finding love.

 

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

Aquarius is perhaps the least romantic of the zodiac signs, if only because they're on their own wavelength and can be entirely aloof. They're known for missing the most obvious signs of flirtation, mistaking them for simple kindness. When they do enter relationships, it's often said that the partnership is more like one between best friends, with just a dash of romance thrown in.
