The Chinese-Canadian creator actually has a background in finance, graduating from UCLA summa cum laude in just three years with a major in business and economics and a minor in accounting, but it didn't take her long to see that this wasn't the path for her. She had a 9 to 5 job in the business world before realizing her future was in content creation, tackling pop culture topics, beauty standards and online trends to enchant more than 2.8 million followers on YouTube alone. "I do want to pick up Black Mirror, and am a little worried that I'll get hooked."

"I think living itself is inspirational if I am intentionally present. Conversations, silence, films, museums, books and podcasts are some of my favorite sources."

"For the longest time before I began creating, life was going well (in accordance with societal norms): good college, good grades, good opportunities lined up, but I felt trapped. It was through YouTube that I realized I need creative freedom to not only thrive, but also be my full self."

10. The No. 1 thing on her bucket list is to be able to say "I love you" straight into the eyes of the ones she loves.
"Growing up in a culture that is less expressive about feelings and affection, I struggle a lot with verbalizing my emotions. It's a work in progress!"

"I am a believer that there is truly no limit to growth—which is why I strive to do my better, not the best; for every accomplishment is not the end but leads to the beginning of a fresh breakthrough. Knowing that there is no limit to growth is extremely exciting and pushes me daily to build a better me, create better content and grow a stronger community."
